Anthony Barresi is an award winning Creative Director and the Co-Founder of PASTA LIFE, an eco-friendly pasta drinking straw startup. He currently lives in NJ and works at Live Nation, Media & Sponsorship Division in NYC and has been with the company for 4 years. 

Anthony is passionate and driven with an entrepreneurial spirit that punches well above its weight. He has 10 years of creative agency and in-house experience specializing in experiential design, branding, and content creation/production for major lifestyle, alcohol, and lifestyle brands such as ASICS, BMW, Truly Hard Seltzer, Rémy Martin, Budweiser, and Bacardi to name a few. He accredits his success to the relationships he’s built over the years coupled with his purpose-driven creative approach and unmatched hustle and entrepreneurial spirit.

Anthony’s approach to creative leverages surfacing technologies as a way to evoke change and push beyond the boundaries of a client brief. Ultimately, it’s about creating immersive experiences and narrative-rich content to move the culture forward.

Co-Founder @ Pasta Life, LLC | Sept. 2019 - Present

The makers of the first-ever gluten-free pasta drinking straw. I created Pasta Life because plastic straws suck and I was tired of soggy paper straws falling apart in drinks in less than 10 min. From kitchen concept to mass production, we have designed and produced the best eco-friendly and gluten-free 100% biodegradable alternative to plastic and paper on the market. Our goal is to disrupt the single-use plastics industry with a vision to bring like-minded people to the table to solve our planet's most pressing environmental issues. For this venture, I lead all creative, content production, brand partnerships, and overarching marketing strategy to build a community around our brand. We recently partnered with Oceanic Global and donate a portion of proceeds to marine life and ocean conservation.

Senior Art Director @ Live Nation Entertainment | Dec. 2017 - Present

I lead creative strategy in collaboration with my team of art directors and designers within the Media and Sponsorship Division to create cultural experiences and narrative-rich content for brand partners across Live Nation’s major music festival, artist, touring, and venue properties. I partner with Sales, Production, and Digital Content teams to concept solutions that solve clients' business problems while prioritizing internal business objectives. I spearhead creative from conceptualization through design, production, and execution and provide thought leadership around the alcohol, lifestyle and entertainment industries.

Client List. Twitch, Truly Hard Seltzer, Budweiser, Bud Light, Remy Martin, Bacardi, ASICS, BMW, Verizon, PayPal, and Live Nation as a brand.

Creative Director @ SoHo Experiential | Sept. 2016 - Dec. 2017

I led the creative charge for all brand partnerships from inception and strategy through design, production, and execution. In collaboration with my team of visual designers, art directors, copywriters, and 3D artists, I managed the overall creative strategy across various industry verticals to bring experiences to life and provide consumers with unforgettable moments while exceeding our clients' business objectives and goals.

Digital Producer @ SoHo Experiential | Feb. 2015 - Sept. 2016

This is where I became a creator, hacker, and iterator. I led and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to develop event websites, mobile and web apps, photo experiences, and content to fuel email and social campaigns. My design & UXD skills, coupled with data-driven know-how, drove our strategic approach and led to creating bold new digital platforms.

Information Systems Manager @ SoHo Experiential | Jun. 2013 - Feb. 2015

This is where I grew SoHo's business intelligence and operations. I oversaw the analytics team and managed the inflow of consumer data collected across 20,000 events annually and the outflow of analytics and insight to our clients. This kickstarted our agency's role in sculpting CRM initiatives for The Macallan, Rémy Cointreau USA, and Citibank.

Social Media Strategist @ DICE | May 2011 - Dec. 2011

This is where I developed a social media content strategy for @Dice, a tech job recruitment agency. I consolidated social platforms, produced engaging content, implemented listening & engagement tools, and managed communities. 

TA: Supply Chain Management @ Penn State University | Aug. 2010 - May 2012

This is where I learned about lean and agile supply chains. Little did I know, I would later apply these principles to conceptualization, design, and web development.
